Material: Aramid
Bulletproof Level: NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIA
Weight: 0.6-0.8kg
Protection Area: 0.28-0.48㎡
NIJ IIIA Ballistic Panel is composed of fabrics made of high-performance fibers, say aramid materials or ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene.
Soft panel is able to reach the IIIA level of the US NIJ standard. This level is only for pistol shells, that is, it can only defend against .44 Magnum JHP and 9mm Para FMJ.
Soft panel usually add a buffer layer behind the bulletproof fiber layer. The buffer layer is made of pearl cotton or other materials with low density, high flexibility, high strength and high toughness. In addition to helping to reduce the depression caused by bullets, the buffer layer also makes the soft panel layer closer to the human body softer and more comfortable for users to wear on the body.
